A Story of Movement, Mind, and Mountains

It all started wihen I organised a volunteer trip to Nepal. I didn’t know it then, but that journey planted the first seed of what would become my life’s work: helping people move, think, and live with more balance.

Travel has always been my greatest teacher. From the sand dunes of Abu Dhabi to the rain-soaked streets of Newcastle, and now the quiet majesty of the Swiss mountains, every place has shaped how I see movement, the mind, and the art of slowing down.

A smiling woman with curly hair, sitting cross-legged on a wooden porch with a snowy landscape and pine trees outside, with a laptop, mug, and fireplace logs nearby.

As a trainer, I’ve learned that every body tells a story. No two people move the same, and no two wellness journeys should look alike. My approach is rooted in education and co-creation — empowering others to find strength and rhythm that truly fit their lives.

Through experience, I’ve learned that simplicity is often the answer we overlook. I’m a recovering over-thinker, always searching for balance between science and intuition. I’ve seen what happens when we let go of perfectionism, self-doubt, and the noise. We rediscover confidence, ease, and trust in ourselves.

And as a writer, I’ve found that words and movement are two sides of the same coin. Both invite us to pay attention: to what we feel, what we fear, and what we long for. My work now blends writing, reading, movement, and the outdoors: guiding others to reconnect with themselves through experience, reflection, and adventure.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from all these paths, it’s that life doesn’t need to be so complicated.

We think too much, or sometimes not enough. The real work, and the real joy, lies somewhere in between.

It’s all about balance.
